Take a Seat at Nature’s Pew

It was a privilege to listen to the harmonious stillness, as uniquely presented by the Canyon gods.  And I found what I called nature’s pew to be a perfect vantage point.

The Canyon gods, residing at the Grand Canyon’s North Rim, spoke volumes of words and hit the highest of notes as any of our greatest orators and virtuosos. Their message was communicated in clear, crisp tones and their visuals were magnificent.

Canyon worshippers came from across the globe to witness a sermon that was masterful and millions of years in the making. I saw the architectural mountains in the Canyon and marveled at the phenomena that time and forces of nature have created.  Then, I was invited to scale it all down to what a human being could accomplish. The Canyon whispered thoughts to me about how to reactivate and reinvigorate – ways to create more intentional results in my own life. I reimagined myself being more and challenged myself to do more by using my time and energy differently.

Imagine, like the Canyon, inspiring others to open their hearts and lead the way forward like never before. Our days can be transformed by even a tiny fraction of the kind of awe and gratitude the Canyon gods inspire.

And it’s the feelings created by moments like these that nudge us to be more. Nature carries and reveals many lessons to make our lives more whole. Understanding what to do with them requires us to listen, contemplate, and design our own magnificence.

Take a seat.
