Take the Time Now

Do you ever feel like you need to pull back on everything -computers, telephones, and the endless requirements of social media?

We have more pressure on us than most of us like to acknowledge. The requirements are huge – at home, at work, in your community. If you’re a bit like me, you know when it’s time to pause, and, you want to do just that if only you had the time. As if you don’t.

Think about it. If you get sick – really sick, you’re forced to take down time. They find someone else and put her in your place. One way or the other, they’ll find a way to manage and get what needs to be done, done!

This season represents a time of change, rebalancing, and shifting gears.

For me it’s been like a rebirthing. I’ve taken time off in a different kind of way. And yes, I also took time to put my feet on the beach too.

How often do you sit back and reflect on your own journeys? Do you keep moving and barely pause long enough to catch your breath? I’ve been there too – we all have.

Take the time now. That may mean staying home a weekend instead of going out. That may mean altering your routine so that you fulfill the need for more me time with whatever needs your attention. It’s a choice. And you can decide in your favor.

With this time of reflection comes an opportunity to look ahead at the coming year. As we inch closer to 2019, some of us begin to worry – “we didn’t accomplish what we’d hoped for this year” or “OMG, I’m not ready, what shall I do to ensure better, although last minute, results?”

Take a deep breath. The good news lies in the words pivot, course correction and planning. In a nutshell, you can shift your direction and choose differently.

I am so pleased to be back and I look forward to making some bold and adventurous decisions, right along beside you, in 2019!

Just a note: I have a brand new, bold and adventurous website — do have a look and maybe kick off your year with an exciting and expanded weekend version of our popular start of the year retreat ~ The Architect & The Tree.

Imagine the possibilities,
